Research shows four highly effective components to treatment: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Contingency Management, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. RecoverOnline offers these four therapeutic techniques over a one-month period through sixteen respective interactive psychoeducational video segments.
Twelve Step Education
Three weeks of the RecoverOnline program contributes to the 12-Steps based recovery support. The goal of this interaction is to develop virtual sponsorship as the client is in the program while encouraging real-life sponsorship. The sponsor gives a passionate explanation of the 12-Steps followed by their personal experience with the 12-Steps.
Personal Stories of Recovery
The purpose of the recovery stories in each day of the treatment program is to develop an intimate connection with recovery while the client learns from other people in recovery to cultivate strength and hope. The connection is meant to build an understanding of others' recovery and help the client build their own.
Video Questions and Responses
Videos provide opportunities to engage the client with questions relating to the topics being taught within the program. All responses are documented within a client’s “history profile” that is reviewed by clinical staff. These responses are used to check the client’s engagement towards their treatment.
Progress Monitoring
Once a client completes a video within the program this is stored in a database to reference client compliance with completion of the requirements of the program. If a client is not completing the videos or falling behind the treatment schedule, they will receive direct contact each day by a case manager until the client is up to date.
